With combined experience of over 50 years, our team will bring you solutions for your most difficult to decorate spaces. Vernon and Sharon, along with son Danny, started a renovation business over 20 years ago. Due to loyal clients it grew into a design showroom, gracing Wichita with exquisite taste, expert knowledge, and outstanding service. Our business was built on relationships, and our clients return over and over.

Meet our team:

​​Danny is our "Wall Guru". Son of Sharon and Vernon,

he is our "Wall Artist". Creating and hanging wall arrangements,

all of the pictures and mirrors in the store, and custom 

arrangements for clients in their homes.

He has an artistic eye for any wall arrangement and

he is the first face you see with all deliveries,

taking great care to make sure your purchase arrives safely and

assembled and placed accurately.

Danny is a fan of classic rock and spinning tunes on LP. He lives

with his partner Dee and two cats Anthem and Monaco.

​​                                                 Sharon is an award winning designer, and artist, who has                                                             decorated some of the most exquisite homes in the country.

                                                 Her care for her clients is what keeps them

                                                 lifelong partners in home design. Her choices and style for your

                                                 home are both modern and cozy. 

                                                 Come in and purchase one of her original works of art. Sharon                                                       has been married to Vernon for almost 48 years. They enjoy time

                                                 spent with family and snuggling their two cats Java and Cassie.

Starla is patient, detailed and has an amazing eye for scale and color.

Her background in window treatments, tile and flooring for over 30 years

makes her the expert you'll need for your remodel.

She can design a room or a whole home. 

Starla and husband, Jon, love to travel, ask her about her last trip, and

have 7 children between the two of them and 11 

grandchildren. They have two cats Sofia and Winston.

                                         Chandra has worked in furniture sales and lighting, and interior design                                             for over 20 years. You will find her painting pet portraits or acrylic                                                   painting and photography in her off time. She has been married to                                                 Jason for 18 years and they have 4 children and 2 Grandchildren. As                                             well as two French Bulldogs and a Tuxedo cat.

Vernon is the other Nelson in Nelson Designs and

is a certified Hunter Douglas installer. His business and

building expertise gives him the experience for all the

installs of shades and running a business smoothly.
